The establishment of a web site for the Pan Arab Federation of
Societies of Anesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management
'PAFSA' was always a request of the Arab colleagues in various
personal and official meetings. The new executive committee
elected in Tunis 2005, considered this demand as first priority
in the business order. We appreciate the importance of this
project in covering many of the difficulties encountered before
by the representative of the office and Arab colleagues to
execute many of the agreed upon projects in face of difficult
communication among us. The latter was behind the delay in
reforming the federation and reconstruction of its committees
that prevented it from making use of the effort of our new well
formed and active generation that did not find the way to be
listened to, to participate actively, or to lead the activities.
We are glad to announce the opening of the official web site of
the federation www.pafsaonline.org As you can see the site is
not yet fully complete, however, we decided to start as this
will allow us to move forward and to invite many of you to share
in accomplishing the formation and to share in the various
activities. We hope this will enrich the federation and assure
its success. Please register on the web site, give us your
reference and participate positively. Send us your suggestions
and opinion. Allow us to communicate together for the benefits
of all Arab anesthesiologists and our Federation.
A special appreciation is directed to the publishing committee:
Abdelazeem Al Dawlately, Tarek Marei and Ashraf El Masri for
their efforts in establishing the site with the help of , we are
expecting a lot from them, I am sure they will do their best in
managing the web site the way we all dream of, and will be proud
of. They need more help of you all, so show them your
enthusiasms. A special appreciation is also directed to the
Central Society of Egyptian Anesthesiologists, who agreed to
sponsor the expenses of the web site, until the reconstruction
of the federation permit it from its own resources. |
